In a heart-wrenching incident in the province of Caserta, a six-year-old girl named Marianna passed away in the early hours of the morning at the Marcianise Civil Hospital. The young girl, who was already under medical care at a Naples healthcare facility, fell ill during dinner with her parents at their home in San Felice a Cancello. Despite being rushed to the pediatric emergency room and kept under observation overnight, Marianna's heart stopped beating around 4:00 AM.

The local community and the municipal administration have expressed their deepest condolences to the Avagliano and Vigliotti families, sharing in their immense grief. The mayor of Santa Maria a Vico, among others, has publicly shared messages of solidarity, highlighting the collective mourning of the community.

Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the precise circumstances surrounding Marianna's death. The Santa Maria Capua Vetere Prosecutor's Office has taken charge of the case, ordering the seizure of medical records from both the Marcianise Civil Hospital and the Monaldi Hospital in Naples, where Marianna was previously receiving treatment. An autopsy has also been mandated to shed light on the cause of death.

This tragic event has left the tight-knit community in shock, as they come to terms with the loss of such a young life. The investigation is ongoing, with the hope that it will provide answers to the grieving family and the public. The case underscores the fragility of life and the importance of thorough medical investigations in sudden and unexplained deaths.
